Yiruma
So I was told to listen to some Yiruma (instrumental piano) songs today, and I have definitely found a new love. Even though the music is amazing, calming, and just peaceful, it makes me feel sad. I really am not sure why. It is usually quite slow, I wonder if that has something to do with it? I usually don't have these sorts of reactions to things, so I was pretty surprised. Well, I still plan on listening to songs by Yiruma. They are so impressive and I am able to do homework while I listen since there are no lyrics :)

I for one cannot do homework and listen to music at the same time very effectively except for math. I even get distracted at the music in my own head, for Pete's sake! I like sad music; today I listened to a song that almost invariably makes me choke up every time I play it even though I know it well. However, why would you want to feel sad while doing homework?
ReplyDeleteI think if I am working on homework too, then I am not fully listening to the music so I don't have that reaction. I like having some music in the background to block out other distractions, though.
